Rise Above Rumours

Those who gossip, don’t; those who do, don’t gossip. Many cliches sit with those who speak out of turn:

Loose lips sink ships.

Those who gossip with you will gossip about you.

You didn’t hear this from me but…

My favourite, discovered today, is typical of my own scenario working for a political body, one filled with nobodys who thought they were all a somebody. In reality, they were all a non-event. It goes like this:

Appreciate those who gossip about you. 

It’s not easy for someone to leave their problems and worry about yours.
